A look back with Johan: Former Agile Search colleague!

To celebrate our 15th anniversary, we’re not only highlighting our current team members – we also want to reconnect with some of our amazing former colleagues. One of them is Johan, who was with us from the very start. Johan played an important role in shaping our culture and work style during his time at Agile Search.

In this interview, he shares his thoughts on his time with the company and how he experienced our culture back then. A huge thank you to Johan for all the memories and contributions to our journey. We are proud of the bonds we’ve built over the years and look forward to hearing his perspective on what it was like to be part of the team!

How would you describe the culture at Agile Search during your time here?

The culture of Agile search was something that made me decide to join the company. I’ve been lucky to be a part of this constantly evolving inclusive and empowering culture.

What’s your best memory from your time at Agile Search?

There are honestly so many good memories from my time at Agile Search. I have some much gratitude and love in my heart for this part of my life and the people I’ve been honored to cross paths with. A proud moment was how well we came out of the difficult time during COVID-19 and how during that time stood by our employees. I can also add all the fun bonus trips abroad were something special.

What made Agile Search unique compared to other companies you’ve worked at?

Something unique is how the owners always have empowered new ideas and involvement in how to run and build the company, the owners understand that the people are the company and are eager to use everyone’s skill set to improve internally and externally. There was always full transparency working at Agile. There is Aldo a lot of thinking out of the box when it comes to the business. Not only react to how the market changes but also try to predict how the market will change so that we as a company can work proactively to offer the best possible solutions for our customers.

What skills or lessons did you take with you from your time at Agile Search?

Working in many different areas of the company I bring with me a lot of experience of how to build a successful organization where people feel seen and understood. I also bring with me values that go beyond work and the business world.

I will never forget when after only a few weeks the owner pulled me aside during an event to tell me that family and community always come first. Work is work but family is always prioritized. I think this also says a lot about the culture of Agile Search.
